We have Office 2007 on a desktop running Vista Ultimate.
A couple of days ago I posted the following question:
I am trying to make a pop-up calendar in excel and am using the page at following link as a guide;
VBA Tips: A Pop-up Calendar for Excel
When I get to Step 5: Locate the MonthView control I do not see the Monthview Control in 'Additional Controls' window.
I have searched through the 'Available References' list (Tools > References) but have not found the MS Monthview Control or the time/date options.
Does anyone have a suggestion (or two)?

I have been to the link and downloaded the file. But what to do with it?
Am I correct in thinking that I download and unpack then put MSCOMCT2.OCX into my system or sys32 folder, or should it go somewhere else?

In the posting “Insert a Drop Down Calendar Menu In Excel – Choose a Date!” one of the steps requires that you select the Microsoft Date & Time Picker Control 6.0 (SP4).

The original file was creates in Excel 2003 and I was running it on Excel 2003 on a different computer. Looks like one was version 10 and the other was version 11, even though both are Excel 2003. To solve the problem, I had to copy the file 'Mscomct2.ocx' into the ' System32' folder. Dec 30, 2016 Microsoft Date and Time Picker is not available in Excel 2016 under the Developer tab then 'More Tools'. The PC is Windows 10 64 bit running Office 365, 2016, 32 bit. I installed ' Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 Common Controls' and registered 'mscomct2.ocx'.
To unzip a CAB file simply follow the directions in the posting “A Free Alternative to Winzip or WinRar: 7-Zip”

Once the file is unzipped simply run the MSCOMCT2.BAT batch file!
