Hi, I have just installed 'Windows 10 Enterprise 2015 LTSB' 64-bit to my MacBook Pro Retina. Everything is working, except SD Card Reader. SD Card reader is not listing by Device Manager, but if I check 'View + Show Hidden Devices' it is listing, but it is grayed. Solution 4: Check if your SD card has a drive letter assigned. Click Windows + X keys to open the power menu; Select Disk Management and in the window that opens, check if your SD card is visible along with a list of other drives; If you see your SD card in the list, see if it is assigned a drive letter.

Usually, we make use of our camera’s SD card to transfer and backup photos to a PC. This is a normal course of action that most users follow without any problems. However, in some cases after upgrading to Windows 10, we have heard users complain about SD card’s not being detected by their computers. What are the causes and the possible solutions to this error? All of this will be covered in this blog post, so stay tuned.

The next best solution is to run the built-in hardware troubleshooter that comes built-in with Windows 10. Running this tool resolves hardware issues if any and may help solve SD card detection problems. You can do so by following the steps below.
