There comes a new tool- 3DS/3DZ To CIA Converter V5.00. And it can convert the 3ds ROM file to cia file which can directly be installed with 3ds menu under the gateway emunand. And the converted games is installed in the 3DS SD card（including save). | Technical details | 3ds is a binary file format. Format is based in chunks, where each section of data is embedded in a block that contains a chunk identifier and the length of the data, as well as the data itself. This allows parsers to skip chunks they don't recognize, and allows for extensions to the format. The chunks form a hierarchical structure, similar to an xml DOM tree. The first two bytes of the chunk are its ID. From that value the parser can identify the chunk and decide whether it will parse it or skip it. The next four bytes contain a little-endian integer that is the length of the chunk, including its data, the length of its sub-blocks and the 6-byte header. The next bytes are the chunk's data, followed by the sub-chunks, in a structure that may extend to several levels deep. |

- -Get latest release of Decrypt9WIP (https://github.com/d0k3/Decrypt9WIP/releases/latest)
- -Place the .3ds files in the files9 folder in sd root(create it if it doesnt exist)
- -You may want to clean the files9 folder since files native firms and other dumped software will be also converted to CIA
- -For converting you need 2 times the size of the 3ds files as free space since when converter you will have the original(3ds) and the converted file (cia)
- -Have Aeskeydb.bin in the files9 folder(Get it from plailects guide, i wont link it)
- A9lh Luma
- 1-Unzip Decrypt9WIP.bin from the decrypt9 zip to the /luma/payloads/ folder on your SD card and rename Decrypt9WIP.bin to x_Decrypt9WIP.bin
- 1-unzip the Decrypt9WIP folder to your 3ds folder in your sd root
- 2-Boot to homebrew launcher on sysnand and select decryp9wip(this can take a lot of tries)
- Converting (a9lh/non a9lh users)
- 3-Once on Decrypt9WIP Select content decryptor options->CIA Builder options-> Build cia from NCCH/NCSD
- 4-Decrypt9wip will convert all the 3ds files to cia (This can take some time)
- 5-Now the files are ready to be installed with a cia installer like FBI
